Create your perfect bundle: Select the Road King Fairings fairing that fits your bike; pick the stereo and speakers that fit you.
Choose a simulated vent or smooth Vector Batwing Fairing and opt for two oval 6" x 9",two round 6 ½", or four round 5 ¼" speakers. Then decide on the head unit to power your sound package and bring it to life!*
For some riders, having quick and easy access to storage is a necessity. Vector GBE™ meets that requirement. With an open glove box and chrome-plated retention guard as the focus of this Batwing Fairing for Road King fairing package, Vector Glove Box Edition™ is completed with a set of booming speakers and a hair-raising amplifier.
Kicker generates amazing sound by combining the tweeter and woofer into one booming coaxial speaker. This two-in-one design creates an audio component loud enough to be heard above highway noise but light weight enough to maintain smooth motorcycle handling. What’s more, these 4Ω speakers are water-resistant and available in 6 ½", 4 x 5 ¼" and 6" x 9" sizes.
The 5 ¼" and 6" x 9" Punch speakers burst with a full range of sound. Utilizing their Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST), Rockford Fosgate sets a polyetherimide (PEI) dome tweeter above a mineral-filled polypropylene subwoofer cone. In this 2-way design, the subwoofer is 25% larger than those in comparable speakers. The crisp highs and solid lows that this combination generates deliver a serious punch to the gut—even without an amplifier.
The Boss MRCP9685A stereo give you supreme control in 1 command center. With a 6.75" touchscreen display, the system delivers and looks good doing it. The USB ports let you connect a smartphone, with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, and access your digital music library, music streaming app, and your smartphone's built in navigation. Bluetooth capability is built in, not accessible with Apple CarPlay or Android auto, as well as AM/FM radio, and digital access to your music library via flash drive.
No matter how great these speakers are, they make no sound without something providing input. And that’s what the Rockford Fosgate PMX-1 does. Featuring built-in Bluetooth technology, a multi-use USB port, and AM/FM radio frequencies, this receiver with a water-resistant face plate packs a lot of features into a compact design.
A 2.7" thin-film transistor (TFT) display and full-color graphical user interface (GUI) make the sleek Rockford Fosgate PMX-2 visually impressive. But the marine-grade stereo is more than just a good-looking head unit. By putting elements such as Bluetooth, Pandora® Internet Radio, AM/FM/WB channels, and a graphic equalizer at the user’s fingertips, the PMX-2 is a music lover’s dream.
Each fairing comes with one clear and one tinted windshield at no additional cost.
*All options are not available with every fairing.
NOTE: The Vector Batwing Fairing Does Not have a functioning vent. The words “simulated vent” and “vented-look” refer to the cosmetic design of this fairing, which makes it appear to have a vent. We do not offer a truly vented fairing.
*Budget Option Contains*
Rockford speakers and mulitmedia head unit
I am very pleased with the purchase. I should have done this a long time ago, instead of wasting over $1,000 on different sounds systems that kept crapping out on me. It was easy to install. The hardest part was running the power line which was not hard at all. I definitely would recommend this to others.

It is not bad but, it's not worth the money spent in my opinion. I would not buy it again. There is a bubble, right in my view while riding. I am purchasing a 3 pouch system to hide the bubble in the coating
The edge of the molding has to be repaired, it should not have shipped the way it looks. The sound is nice, I purchased the Boss system. If I did it again I would have bought one of the other ones that cost more online. It did arrive in less than 16 days, roughly.
Ordered my batwing on Sunday and it arrived the following Friday, was well packed for shipping. My batwing is for a 2002 Road King Classic, it went on with no mods required, the only thing I had to do was loosen the bolts for the fork mounted windshield brackets for it to bottom out on the grommets, took all of about 30 minutes. I ordered mine with 4, 5 1/4 speakers and the PMX-1 head unit, I’ll tell ya it is plenty loud. I wear a full face helmet and have stock pipes and at 70/80 MPH I could hear it fine with no distortion and without being turned up all the way, I’m sure with loud pipes it would still be fine. As has been mentioned the fit of the inner and outer shell are not perfect, but it is hardly noticeable. If you’re on the fence about getting one, just do it, you won’t regret it.
Thank you batwing-fairing.com for a great addition to my ride, now I just gotta get it painted.
This is a great system. Radio, Speakers and USB work great. My two gripes are
1. the 12 volt outlet had to be swapped out for one that will work a cigarette lighter.
2. The two halves of the shell dont line up very well and the inside of the front shell where it showes was raw fiberglass that give it a really poor, cheap appearance. I had to take it apart to replace the 12 volt outlet anyway so I just masked off everything and painted it with some flat black that a had in the shop. I have not mounted it on the bike yet (due to it still being in the shop getting rebuilt from a front tire blow out / crash)
I'll try to remember to do an update after I have it mounted on the bike.
New fairing shipped quickly and was packaged well to protect during shipping. Installed easily and looks great. Only disappointment is with music system and inability to adjust treble/bass on the unit.
Sounds nice and clear great faring, was a direct bolt on. Came in a timely manner they said 3 weeks it showed up in a week and half. Totally worth the money..
It’s exactly what they say it is. It’s an exact fit and as loud as you pay to have it built. I went with their top end option it’s the 4- 5 1/4 kickers and the Rockford head unit. At interstate speeds of 80+, I can hear it just fine and at city speeds so can everyone else that’s around. It was super easy to install and I like the quick disconnect on the wiring in case I need to remove it to work on my bike. The only thing I would change on it is to have a remote wire added that goes to the ignition wire so it turns on when you turn the bike on. Not too big of a fan of the power switch. All in all this is a great product for the price you pay for it.
Bike looks and sounds amazing, hear it at loud speeds and getting plenty compliments. 4 stars cause I had to drimmel one corner to get the fairing to sit flush when I installed the windshield
Stereo sounds great at freeway speeds , very easy to install the only reason for giving it 4 stars is the fitment of the two halves of the fairing where they come together could be cleaner.
